This specimen was lot 71317 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Kroner, 1940-N GJ. Copenhagen Mint. NGC MS-65. A wondrous Gem, this brilliant piece is the finest graded by NGC. A treat for the connoisseur of exceptional 20th century issues." The two kroner was converted to aluminum bronze in 1924 and struck to that standard until 1959. This type is listed for 1936-41.

Recorded mintage: 743,000.
