This specimen was lot 45943 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Rigsbankdaler, 1835. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik VI. PCGS VF-35." This type was struck 1833-39 at Copenhagen (mintmaster WS) and Altona (mintmaster FF) in Schleswig-Holstein. One speciedaler was two rigsbankdalers. This specimen realized only one-fifth of the catalog value.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
Specification: 14.44 g, 0.875 fine silver, 32 mm diameter.
