This specimen was lot 10354 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €264 (about US$275). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 24 Skilling, 1762-HSK. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik V. NGC AU-58. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This denomination was revived in 1731 and struck fairly regularly until 1783. It was worth one-third krone or one quarter speciedaler. This type was struck with initials "PNVH" for 1750 and 1753-59 and with initials "HSK" for 1762-64. It is common in worn condition.
