Denmark 1721-CW skilling

from the Stack's Bowers February 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 10342

This specimen was lot 10342 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €312 (about US$325). The catalog description^[1] noted, "DENMARK. Skilling, 1721-CW. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik IV. NGC MS-62. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1720-23 at Copenhagen altho without the heart mintmark. One skilling was 1/64 krone or 1/96 speciedaler.
