This specimen was lot 74511 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 16 Skilling, 1716. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik IV. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details." This type was struck 1713-16 and was worth one mark or one-sixth speciedaler. Numista notes that it was withdrawn in the 1720's after it was heavily counterfeited.
