This specimen was lot 33842 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "Danish West Indies: Danish Colony. Frederik VII 2 Skilling 1848 MS66 PCGS. A standout offering, rarely seen in such lofty levels of certification, and displaying full mint brilliance. The face of the coin reads '2 Skilling Danish American Coin'. From the Feeling Good Collection." This one year type accompanied a ten and twenty skilling. It is common.
