This specimen was lot 33637 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $324. The catalog description[1] noted, "Danish West Indies: Danish Colony. Christian VIII 2 Skilling 1847 MS64 NGC. A very nearly gem quality minor, tinged with the lightest tinge of blue. A scarce one-year type." This type was struck in 1847 along with a ten and twenty skilling. Ninety six skilling made a daler.
