This specimen was lot 962 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 38 (Winter Park, FL, November 2025), where it sold for $1,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "CUBA, Havana mint, gold proof 25 pesos, 2004, FIFA World Cup Germany 2006, NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo, "top pop." Virtually perfect ¼-oz coin in 0.999-fine gold, tied with two others for finest in the NGC census, advertising the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany within Cuba’s scarce modern commemorative program, a great piece for collectors of both Cuban rarities and World Cup gold issues."
