This specimen was lot 2835 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "CUBA: Republic, AR 20 pesos, 1979, 6th Summit of Nonaligned Nations, with original Havana Mint case of issue, PCGS graded MS67." This NCLT accompanied a gold hundred pesos (KM 45). The torrent of commemoratives would begin a few years later. The 6th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement took place on 3–9 September 1979 in Havana, the capital city of Cuba. 93 countries took part in the summit. Castro's bluster was not well received by some attendees, several of whom walked out.

Recorded mintage: 20,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 26 g, 0.925 fine silver, 38 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by José Fornés Ramos.
