This coin is among nine types of twenty-five centimos issued between the reform of the colon in 1920 and the suspension of the denomination in 1989. This product of the Philadelphia mint is not rare but is the only silver issue of the denomination.

Recorded mintage: 1,340,000.

Specification: 3.45 g, .650 fine silver, .075 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
