This coin is among nine types of twenty-five centimos issued between the reform of the colon in 1920 and the suspension of the denomination in 1989. This product of the London mint is common and was issued in 1937 and 1948. It is accompanied by a fifty centimos (KM 176) and one colon (KM 177). The intervening issues during World War Two were brass.
