Colombia 2017 500 pesos

This bi-metallic 500 pesos is of a type issued for Colombia starting in 2012. The obverse displays a glass frog. For 2017, the mintage contract was divided between the government facility in Ibaque and the Kremnica mint in Czechoslovakia. As of October 2021, US$1 = 3,792 Colombian pesos, giving this coin a value of about 13 cents.

Recorded mintage: 159,000,000 (Ibague + Kremnica).

Specification: 7.14 g, bimetallic (aluminum bronze center in copper-nickel-zinc ring), 23.7 mm diameter.
