This specimen was part of lot 40456 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Three MS-64 (PCGS) 5 Pesos. Included are 1920-A; 1924-B; 1925. (Total: 3 pieces). From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck 1919-24 and is common.

Recorded mintage: 705,000.

Specification: 7.99 g, 0.917 fine gold, .234 troy oz AGW (same standard as a British sovereign).
