This specimen was lot 54 in Sedwick Auction 36 (Winter Park, FL, November 2024), where it sold for $3,360. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, (1700) ARCE, king's name as CAROLVS. Choice AU with bold full cross showing particularly prominent dimple-rings (date not visible but this die known for 1700 only), full shield with parts of (C)ARO(L)VS•II•A(RCE) visible, toned in crevices." This type was struck 1694-1713 for Charles II and into the reign of Philip V.
