This specimen was lot 45 in Sedwick Auction 36 (Winter Park, FL, November 2024), where it sold for $4,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, 1655, assayer R below denomination II to right, mintmark NR to left, PCGS MS62. Clear bottom half of final 5 of date to left of five-dot ornament in legend (a die-match with other known 1655's but PCGS label says 1653 in error) outside of sharp and nearly full cross, the shield also nearly full but more off-center, with clear (N)R to left and left side of II-R to right, king's ordinal IIII in legend, satin surfaces, the edge slightly crude (as made)." This type was struck 1628-55 for Philip IV. Most survivors lack legible dates and therefore many dates are not listed altho the Santa Fé mint probably operated continuously during that period.
