This specimen was lot 935 in Jean Elsen sale 165 (Brussels, June 2026), where it sold for €220 (about US$303 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, COLOGNE, Ville, AR 2/3 Taler, 1694 PN. Au titre de Léopold Ier. D/ Écu de la ville. R/ Aigle impériale couronnée. Très Beau. (Germany, city of Cologne, silver two-thirds thaler of 1694, struck in the name of Leopold I. Obverse; arms of the city; reverse: crowned imperial eagle. Very Fine.)"
This type was struck 1693-95 and 1700 by the city, not the archbishop. The initials "PN" are divided by the arms on the obverse.
