The specimen shown is a type struck in Chile 1954-58. It superseded a copper type struck 1942-54. It is the last of its denomination and is worthless in all grades.

Recorded mintage: 43,200,000 plus more in copper (KM 179) plus proofs.

Specification: 2 g, aluminum, 25 mm diameter.
