The specimen shown is a type struck in Chile 1920-38. It superseded a debased silver type struck 1901-19 (KM 155.1-.3). This type is the last of its denomination prior to the reform of 1960. This date is common. Oscar Roty's defiant condor, first used in 1895, appeared on virtually all Chilean silver and copper-nickel coins until 1940.
