This specimen was lot 756 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 28 (Winter Park, FL, November 2020), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "Santiago, Chile, 20 centavos, 1913, NGC MS 65, 'top pop.' Flashy luster with just the faintest of rainbow toning, tied with one other for finest in NGC census." This silver twenty centavos piece was minted in Santiago in 1907-13 and 1919-20. This twenty centavos was first introduced in 1896 and was gradually debased until it was converted to copper-nickel in 1920. It is common tho varieties abound.
Reported Mintage: 3,507,000, including 1913/1 and 1913/0 overdates.
