This specimen was lot 3439 in Goldberg sale 104 (Los Angeles, June 2018), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada. 350 Dollars, 1998. Elizabeth II. Reverse: Flowers. For the 90th Anniversary of RCM. Mintage 664 struck. PCGS graded Proof 69 Deep Cameo." The profits extracted from the manufacture and sale of NCLT's caused the Royal Canadian Mint to scramble for ever more arcane topics, including this self-celebrating one touting the mint's 90th anniversary.
