This specimen was lot 32691 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $74. The catalog description[1] noted, "Elizabeth II Proof 50 Cents 1967 PR67 Cameo PCGS. An unusually high grade for the type with virtually perfect surfaces. From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins." In 1967, a new reverse was used in celebration of the centennial of confederation. This date, which is otherwise common, was issued only for the proof sets.
