Stack's Bowers 2025 NYINC sale, lot 37778

This specimen was lot 37778 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "CANADA. Cent, 1941. Ottawa Mint. George VI. NGC MS-63 Red Brown." This type was struck 1937-47 and varies from the later George VI cent by retaining the "IND IMP" in the obverse legend. This date is common. The maple leaf reverse was used until cents were discontinued in 2014.

Specification: 3.24 g, bronze, 19.1 mm diameter, plain edge.
