The SCWC lists this type for 1937-42 in substantial numbers. Wartime issues were brass or chrome plated steel. This specimen was part of lot 33820 in Heritage sale 3038 (Dallas, January 2015), which sold for $1,527.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "George VI Six Piece Specimen Set 1937, KM-SS35. This is the scarcer set with mirror-like fields consisting of Cent to Dollar. Housed in its original case from the Canadian mint in Ottawa. Reported mintage of 75 Specimen Sets."
