This specimen was lot 20431 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it sold for $920. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V Cent 1922, MS64RB PCGS, nice original toning with considerable mint red. Very scarce date in mint state." This type, struck at Ottawa 1920-36, is common in all grades tho the years 1922-25 are scarce. This date is not rare below extremely fine.

Recorded mintage: 1,243,635.

Specification: 3.24 g, bronze, 19.1 mm diameter, plain edge.
