The first specimen was lot 23425 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $1,880. The catalog description[1] noted, "Edward VII 10 Cents 1908, MS65 PCGS and MS65 ICCS, sharply struck with appealing blue-green toning, a lovely coin and decidedly scarce in this grade. From The Nikita Collection." This type was struck at London and Heaton 1902-10. This date is better but quite scarce in this condition.

Recorded mintage: 776,666.

Specification: 2.31 g, 0.925 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
