This specimen was lot 29165 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Edward VII 25 Cents 1905 MS64 ICCS. A superb example with rich, multi-hued patina and considerable brightness that clings to the devices. Wholly appealing, with sharply-struck details and ample mint bloom. As one of the key dates in the series, this is a wonderful representative of the type which is utterly scarce in this quality and currently unpriced in Canadian Trends in MS64 and higher." This type was struck 1902-1910 at the London and Heaton mints. This date is very scarce. All the dates are rare in high grade.

Recorded mintage: 800,000.

Specification: 5.81 g, 0.925 fine silver, .173 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.

Catalog reference: KM 11.
