This specimen was lot 20428 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), where it sold for $1,092.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Edward VII Cent 1907H, KM 8, MS65RB PCGS, glossy surfaces with abundant mint brilliance, rare date in this premium quality." This type was struck 1902-10. This date, the last from the Heaton mint, is the scarcest of the series but is not rare below extremely fine.

Recorded mintage: 800,000.

Specification: 5.67 g, bronze, 25.4 mm diameter, plain edge, designed by G. W. DeSalles.
