This specimen was lot 22353 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Cent, 1890-H. Heaton Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-64 Red Brown. A lustrous cent with abundant mint red in fields and devices." This type, struck 1876-1901, is common in all grades.
Recorded mintage: 1,000,000.
Specification: bronze, 5.67 grams, 25.4 mm diameter, plain edge.
