This specimen was lot 29162 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $2,937.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria 10 Cents 1875-H AU58 NGC, Heaton mint. With just the slightest amount of wear on the high points, this coin wows with central, light-gray patination surrounded by registers of gold and blue highlights. A wonderful example of this highly-coveted date in the series." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901. Despite the ample mintage, this date is rare.

Recorded mintage: 1,000,000.

Specification: 2.32 g, 0.925 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
