This specimen was lot 70310 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $110. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 10 Cents, 1874-H. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details Secure Holder. The cleaning on the label is evidenced by some very faint hairlines on the obverse. Sharply struck with multicolored toning, soft satin luster and quite attractive despite the detail designation." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901.
Recorded mintage: 600,000, a common date.
Specification: 2.32 g, 0.925 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
