This specimen was lot 1261 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $420. The catalog description^[1] noted, "CAMBODIA: People's Republic of Kampuchea, AV 40 riels, 1990, folklore dance, Brilliant Unc, R." This appears to be the only issue from Cambodia in 1990. The People's Republic of Kampuchea was renamed the State of Cambodia in 1990 but the country remains a shambles.
