Burgsteinfurt during the Weimar Republic

In 1917, the town of Burgsteinfurt in Westfalia issued ten and twenty-five pfennig notgeld. Two varieties exist for this type; the large size (23.1 mm diameter) is quite scarce.

Recorded mintage: 12,924 (all varieties).

Specification: nickel plated zinc, 22.5 mm diameter.
