In 1918, the Rhineland town of Duren issued ten pfennig notgeld honoring the veterans of World War One. Another, even more common, variety (Funck 105.8) exists without the "SD" under the soldier's chin.

Recorded mintage: 501,500 (Funck 105.7) and 1,100,750 (Funck 105.8).

Specification: steel, 23.8 mm diameter.
