This specimen was lot 572 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $1,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "BUNDI: Raghubir Singh, 1889-1927, AR nazarana square rupee, VS1948, in the name of Queen Victoria in English; superb well-centered strike, XF, ex Ian Todd Collection. Sold in our Auction 8, lot 684." The nazarana rupee appears to be the square version of the ordinary rupee which was also struck during this potentate's reign. Bundi is surrounded by Gwalior, Kotah and Mewar. This type is listed for 1886-96.
