This specimen was lot 70286 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "BULGARIA. 2 Leva, 1925-(P). Poissy Mint; mm: thunderbolt. NGC MS-66. This highly attractive choice Gem survivor exhibits boldly struck devices with a thin veneer of tone adding to its originality and pleasing appearance." This type was struck at Brussels and Poissy and is not listed as rare. It superseded an aluminum two leva of 1923.
