This specimen was lot 1282 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 160 (about US$211 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Konventionstaler 1771. Schwabach. Sehr schön. (margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach, convention thaler of 1771, Schwabach mint. Very fine.)"
This type was issued 1771 only and is listed as rather scarce. It comes not from the Electorate of Brandenburg (later the Kingdom of Prussia) but from Brandenburg-Ansbach, a Hohenzollern enclave west of Bavaria and neighboring Nuremburg.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
