This specimen was lot 2050 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"Brandenburg-Ansbach, Markgrafschaft, Karl Wilhelm Friedrich, 1723-1757 1/4 Taler 1736. Schwabach Auf die Einweihung des neuen Gymnasiums in Ansbach. Sehr selten. Vorzüglich. Hübsche Patina. (margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach, Charles William Frederick, 1723-57, quarter thaler of 1736, Schwabach mint, on the opening of the new school in Ansbach. Very rare, Extremely fine, Attractive patina.)"

Recorded mintage: unknown but rather scarce.
