This specimen was lot 1029 in Jean Elsen sale 164 (Brussels, March 2026), where it sold for €65 (about US$91 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRABANT, Duché, Philippe IV (1621-1665), Cu liard, 1643, Anvers. D/ Briquet entouré d'une couronne et des écus d'Autriche, Bourgogne et Brabant. R/ Écu couronné, accosté de la date. Très Beau à Superbe. (duchy of Brabant, Philip IV, 1621-65, copper liard of 1643, Antwerp mint. Obverse: crowned firesteel surrounded by the shields of Austria, Burgundy and Brabant; reverse: crowned arms divide the date. Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"

This type was struck at Antwerp, Maastricht and Brussels. The Antwerp product is known for 1643, 1650-56 and the 1643 is the most common date. Eighty liards made a gulden.
