Sincona sale 101, part of lot 2327

This specimen was lot 2327 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,809 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BELGIEN Flandern, Grafschaft, Philipp IV. 1621-1665. Souverain d'or (Gouden kroon) 1634, Brüssel. Gutes sehr schön. Kleiner Randfehler. (Belgium, county of Flanders [sic], Philip IV, 1621-65, gold souverain or crown of 1634, Brussels mint. Good Very Fine, Minor edge flaw.)"

This type is listed for Brabant, from Antwerp (struck 1623-27, 1631, 1634, 1637-39) and Brussels (struck 1622-24, 1629-39).
