This specimen was lot 71133 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $110. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. 1/10 Boliviano, 1864-PTS FP. Potosi Mint. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. A crisply struck coin with frosty devices and gray to faintly plum tinted fields." This silver one tenth boliviano was minted in Bolivia in 1864-67. This type is listed as rather scarcer than the subsequent ten centavos (KM 158.1) struck 1873-1900, which was only 2.3 grams.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
