This type was struck 1854-58. Assayers FJ and MJ are recorded for 1857. The two soles has a low catalog value but is less often seen than the similar four soles. These debased coins, along with contemporary issues from La Paz mint, flooded South America and were denounced by Bolivia's neighbors, to no avail.
