This specimen was lot 1138 in Goldberg Sale 146 (Los Angeles, July 2025), where it sold for $78. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bohemia. 3 Kreuzer (Groschen), 1704-GE (Prague). Leopold I. Only one graded at PCGS; XF-40. PCGS graded Uncirculated Detail (Scratch). The Augustana Collection." This type was struck at Prague in substantial quantities 1688-1708 and has a low catalog value. A "1720" exists, being an engraving error for 1702. The Kuttenberg mint struck a very similar three kreuzer (KM 606). At this time, one thaler was ninety kreuzer. The initials "GE" stood for Gregor Egerer, mintmaster at Prague 1694-1710.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 1.55 g, silver, 20 mm diameter.
