This specimen was lot 2569 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $285.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "BIKANIR: Ganga Singh, 1887-1942, AR rupee, citing Queen Victoria, a lovely toned example! PCGS graded MS62." This type is listed for 1892 and 1897. It was likely made under contract at Calcutta or Bombay. Bikanir state was in the northern part of Rajputana and was mostly desert.
