This specimen was lot 71042 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Bikaner. Mohur, VS1994 (1937). NGC MS-64. Struck for the 50th anniversary of the reign of Ganga Singh. Very high grade example of the type. Well struck, lustrous and attractive." This rare gold issue was accompanied by a rupee and half mohur in gold and silver. The SCWC has consigned the series to the Unusual World Coins.
