Steve Album sale 55, lot 2483

This specimen was lot 2483 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $110. The catalog description^[1] noted, "BHOPAL: Shah Jahan Begum, 1868-1901, AE anna, Bhopal, AH1300, excellent example, type scarce with fully legible date, VF." This type was struck AH 1286, 1288, 1289 and 1300. The auctioneers misattributed this to KM Y5, which is the accompanying half anna.
