This specimen was lot 70169 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $2,280. The catalog description[1] noted, "BERMUDA. 60 Dollars, 1996. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-68 Ultra Cameo. Triangle shaped. With the shape of this interesting coin being a nod to the famous "Bermuda Triangle," this brilliant specimen radiates with a tremendous mirrored nature in the fields and alluring frosting to the devices." This NCLT was accompanied by KM 92 (silver 3 dollars), KM 96 (silver 9 dollars) and KM 97 (gold 30 dollars).

Recorded mintage: 1,500 proofs.

Specification: 31.49 g, 0.999 fine gold, 35 mm diameter.
