This specimen was lot 4187 in Goldberg sale 65 (Los Angeles, September 2011), where it sold for $201.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Belize. 100 Dollars, 1982. Kinkajou. NGC graded Proof 69 Ultra Cameo." This is another Non-Circulating Legal Tender coin issued and marketed by the Franklin mint on behalf of Belize before it withdrew from coinage operations in 1985.
Recorded mintage: 586 proofs plus 10 uncirculated.
Specification: 6.21 g, 0.500 fine gold, .100 troy oz AGW.
