This specimen was lot 2304 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $199.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Belize. 100 Dollars, 1981. Yellow Swallowtail Butterfly. Only 1,658 Proofs struck of this five-sided planchet. In original first day of minting cachet. Gem Brilliant Proof." This is another Non-Circulating Legal Tender coin issued and marketed by the Franklin mint on behalf of Belize before it withdrew from coinage operations in 1985.
