This specimen was lot 1285 in Jean Elsen sale 150 (Brussels, March 2022), where it sold for €110 (about US$146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Léopold II (1865-1909), AR 50 centimes, 1907FR. Refrappe de 1947 sur flan poli. Tranche avec cannelures plus fines. Très rare. Fleur de Coin. (kingdom of Belgium, Leopold II, 1865-1909, silver fifty centimes of 1907, French legends, proof restrike of 1947, with finely reeded edge. Very rare, Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1907 and 1909 with French and Flemish legends.
