This specimen was lot 24669 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bavaria. Karl Theodor gold Ducat 1787, MS63 NGC, an appealing example with full mint luster, bold details and no flan flaws. Very scarce in mint state." The Elector of Bavaria issued this ducat 1778-93 but despite the many years of production it is rare.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
